I think it would be a great idea to use the playstation as a real Pc. Yes i understand it seem strange or very difficult but of course playstation is a very cheap hardware and enough powerful for everday use. Talking about the PS1 of course....
Well i think that a simple adapter can be done to connect keyboard, mouse and printer (i think PS1 have a sony mouse, not sure) and maybe the parrale l port can be use to connect a floppy disk or a zip drive. Yes the computer won't be like a superfast unuseful windowze machine but for everyday work of the MOST of people in the world it would be great. Most of the people use the computer to write email, use word or excel and nothing else.
Finnaly there are million of playstation in the world...
