With the hardware issues on the Sparc II modules that affected companies such as e-bay (and the company that I work for), they have given alot of their customers black eyes. We are converting from a SUN E10K to IBM RS/6000's running AIX and Linux, because our clients can no longer tolerate the Sun crashing...

    Sun is just trying to cover the ass, as they are losing a lot of business to IBM.
