I'd question the way this survey was conducted - otherwise the demographic of EQ has radically changed. A similar study done in '99-00 found that a whopping 46% of players were female. Maybe a further study on how many females tend to haunt EQ websites would have helped.
As DNA said himself in `Don't Panic', Neil Gainan's book about Life, the HHGG, and Everything up to about 1989, if the stories had actually been shown there wouldn't be the massive interest in them that there was. He didn't want to revive them because he didn't think there was much value in reviving them.
As a writer, there's something I don't like at all about this idea of clearing the halls of his PC. It's so intrusive, and smacks of opportunism to me.
