oh yeah and i am getting sick and tired of people complaining constantly about blah blah blah i want more linux games blah blah blah stop complaining and do something about it...compiling will get you no where, contribute to WINE or go and complain to the right people, not on slashdot, and get VALID reasons, I'm not saying that "well windows blows and I want to play kick ass games under linux" isn't a valid reason, but companies want MONEY, and simply cause one person wants something to them doesn't mean money, it means a person wants something.

do we recall that quote that bill gates made the comment "640K ought to be enough for anybody." that was around 1981...i remember in 1996, it was my birthday and i got a gosh gee wow 3 gig hard drive and swore to my dad that I COULD NEVER FILL THAT. now, 20 years after bill said 640K and 5 after i said that i could never fill 3 gigs, i know i'm not the only one who has more than a few gigs filled (right now my main computer has almost 150 gigs filled)

do we remember when the 486 came out? and how OOHHHH AHHHH THIS IS SOOOOO FAST, that whole mentality? now that was when? 1991ish?
were any of us even thinking about having a ghz processor in our homes when the 486 came out, like seriously thinking about it not just dreaming?
NO of course not and not 10 years later, we have the t-bird and the p4...and were still begging for more...

yeah now it seems like that processing power will never come into peoples homes, but a few years from now....it will be pricey but who knows...maybe

when memory was really really pricey agp came out so the video cards can share with the board...that was all nice and dandy...it allowed more development and cost to go down so more people could use it...

i forget who said the only thing that is constant is change itself, and things are changing, and will change to allow more development, just like the use of agp did...just watch....we will have that power in our pc's one day ...AND I CAN NOT WAIT
