Last interactive quake movie I saw is the one where they finished quake in 10 minutes (Or around there). I could watch that one over...and over...and over.....:)

I agree. I mean just throw a few PID Controllers around the house to control the vents and problem solved.:)
I should have stated I used my own mp3 cd's and I wasn't using my 10 mbit connection to hit up napster and other programs like that. The only thing i'm really using is cpu cycles. If a company told me not ot listen to mp3s at work I wouldn't be working for them:)
Only thing i don't agree with is that people use mp3s to take breaks. I'm after working with working with some very large telecom companies as a computer engineering coop. When i'm in the mood to code I would just pop open my play list and giv'er. It would help me block out the noise of people in other cubicals and other distractions.
What's the big deal anyway? It's the way I work and lots of other people work. A cup of coffee, Led Zeppelin and VIM. It's the best way to work!!!
I am doing it right now with my cable modem service. Only problem I had was that I had to manually take filters off my line to get the cable signal. We pay for cable and a cable modem I just didn't want to go through the hastle running cable through my house from our cable line so I split the modem line.
I remember doing this 5 years ago when our cable ISP started offering cable modems. I'm just surprised it took this long for it to make the news:)
It worked for me. I don't have any ports blocked on my cable modem but my IP address changes every 6 months or so (I'll survive). I'm not sure if RR in CA is run differantly than in the US but if you bitch enough hopefully they will do it.
You sound like a tourisim add:) I also live in St. Johns Newfoundland and i'm currently working for Consilient Technologies (A wireless company go figure) and I'm also involved with the IEEE and their celebration preparations.
Also if you want to see the place where the first transatlantic wireless transmission took place you can see pictures at OZFM's SkyCam.

RR in Canada doesn't block any ports. I have 80 and 21 open all I had to do was ask them to unblock them :)
Well I'm in Canada and I was refereing to cap's on teh amount of data you can send and receive not speeds. Sorry bout the confusion.
Does RR in the states limit your traffic?
I'm with Roadrunner and it is great not to have anything blocked on my cable modem and have no download/upload limits :)
