Definition of pollution:
An amount of a chemical or substance that is unusually high or low for the environment. Volcanoes have always been spewing carbon dioxide, but that was at natural levels.
Owners of SUVs are already pay incrased taxes, as we consume, and must consequently pay for, more gasoline than other drivers. The price of gas includes the taxes used primarily for the maintenance and upkeep of roads.
We, from a proportional perspective, subsidize the quality of the roads that you enjoy driving on.
Yeah, I thank you for helping build more roads. (read: less forest, woods, natural habitat.) Laws of supply and demand: with more SUV drivers buying gasoline, prices rise for everybody.
As for reducing the visibility of those around me, that can easily be compensated for by increasing your following distance. Don't you adjust your following distance when behind an 18-wheel tractor trailer?
Tractor trailers are a menace to the road. At least they have professional drivers behind the wheel. The drivers may be a little tired, but that's still better than an SUV driver with his cellphone, PDA, etc. For all practical purposes, you've just called an SUV a "mini-18-wheeler."
I also appreciate how SUVs cause more accidents on the road, more rollovers, and higher insurance rates.
The password for use inside DS9 by the commander (Cisco?) was "Alpha-215." That could get him data and control of virtually every operation on the ship.
There probably is no other use. It's a shame. This is an additional unfortunate step for U.S. domination of space ([sarcasm]Yay! Another way for "Dubya" to violate an international treaty![/sarcasm]). As far as military uses go, this would be a good way to guide anti-ballistic missiles.
global warming myth
What myth?

There are no toxic chemicals, just toxic levels.

You might consider thanking us,
Thanks for everything.
