If the internet became 'alive' we would all see a _lot_ of packets going around we didn't understand. We would all see hits to say our webservers from totally random IP's containing code to take over our machines and change them, as any brain changes itself. Such a system would never happen, and if it did we'd have it all over the news about the internet slowing down, and the 'internet' taking over machines.
Besides I'd get loads of messages in my apache logs..
If you are going to argue against that point, then keep things to scale.
If you said "murder is worse then setting fire to a house", then you'd still insist that killing someone is worse then me burning down every building in the world, bringing civilisation to halt?
The general view (and law) is that a person under the legal age _cannot_ consent. Saying "yes" is not consenting because it is felt that they do not fully understand the situation..
Having said that, the understanding-of-anything-you-do/talk-about bit doesn't seem to get any better with age.. hence the satire of this show.

Clarify..
Did you mean it when you said "..argue that same-sex incest is not immoral" ?
getting rid of the double negative, "..argue that same-sex incest is moral" (well...close enough)
I'm not sure I see why this is an exception to what you said..
I'm desperately trying to think of example where you could state why this would be wrong just using your rules, but can't.
I can only assume you are trolling yourself, which is a shame because I liked the other points you made.
But I would not intervene if say two brothers at age of 30 wanted to try to have sex with each other..
I might think yuck, but i think yuck at gay ppl, but i totally accept homesexuality etc. - just don't do it myself..
This is not too far off what MS have done with SMB
authentification (Network neighbourhood)
When you send the password, they only check up to the size of the password you send..
e.g. The password is "Password" but it will allow "P", "Pa" etc..
Linux smbclient can be hacked in a few hours to simply try every single letter, and with a another half hours work, then expand it so once it knows one letter, it gets the next etc., hence finding the full password.
I have used this hacked version with much success, and this works in 95 and 98:)
(Not later tho.. they fixed it heh)
Yeah uniforms are still around, and I agreed with them then, and still do.
Remember what it is like to be a kid, important how you look, and any differences are seen.
Now imagine where you have kids from different backgrounds, from very poor to middle-middle class. Now imagine the differences in clothes and shoes etc. Those without Nike or Reebok and Gap trousers would be put down.
As I'm getting older (almost 20 now!!) I'm starting to hate Nike etc., for the way they actively push the logo down childrens throats.
Nike etc. go to predominately black areas (think about it) and find out what is 'coolest' and try to aim their logo's at _the poorer_ community.
not the rich kids! The poor kids.
Am I making any sense as to why I would strongly disagree with not having uniforms?
Damn, 1000M bits/sec?
All I need now is a hard drive that will do that.
I second this.

tut tut
I did a double take then
Actually yes, this is exactly what happens.
For rapists, there are programs to deal with the desires, and use masterbation etc.
And they have shown some degree of success, as opposed to simply not dealing with them.
Get used to it.
People have wonderful NL processors that allow us to resolve ambiguities in words by placing context..
Hey, what an idea!
Yeah we need someone like RMS to lead something like FSF...
Oh wait..
I think the trouble is not having security through obscurity, but gaining a false sense of security thru obscutity.
It is the thinking that your server is secure and untouchable that is the problem

JohnFlux
Am I the only person that smells a rat here?
They happen to work out the process.
They incidently don't include the magic key to get their source code working.
They conclude this MS thing is not a problem, for us not to worry about it.
They conclude that the information sent out is okay.
I would not be surprised if I found out they weren't as.. independant.. as it seems.
