why would people waste 20 years building a useless pyramid, when they could have built 1000 more usefull buildings that actualy were beneficial. Its makes no sense.
If i was a person in those times, i would say, stuff this, id rather build my self a cool house,rather than a stupid temple of no use.
All other factors, HD,Video,RAM are allthe same on apples and pcs, the are all SDRAM , they are all IDE HDS , they are all now nvidia video Geforce cards. So the only diff between a mac and pc, is G4/P3 or AMD
Photoshop benchmarks will BE USELESS in the future, when ALL nvidia hardware will do most photoshop effects in hardware 10x faster than G4s , ie, blur, sharpen, emboss , all that shit.... this will make apple cringe.
What next? mpeg4/ mpeg2 encoding speeds, will be the only benchmark.
DDR2 is in the making 400mhz to 533mhz in late 2002
This will rock, DDR is the future.
Perhaps thats why PC133 rams are sooo sooo cheap, dumping of ALL inventory, to make way for HUGE DDR demand. Ahh well at least NO ONE has an excuse to have less than 512meg ram any more in a SDRAM system.
