Even worse than the threatening letters I get from NetSol demanding payment for domains I've successfully transferred over to competent registrars, I received a very unusual phonecall this afternoon from NetSol (believe it or not, they called me!).
They were calling me to update their record for a domain that I hadn't even purchased from them in the first place. I thought it was BS but The number * 69'ed to Verisign/Network Solutions in Virginia. Near as I could tell, they were trying to switch the domain out from under me.
As soon as I hung up the phone I realized that I had missed my opportunity to put them on hold for all eternity.
Seriously though, has anyone else gotten a call like this from someone claiming to be NetSol. Just imagine the chaos that would ensue if they convinced a client that changes should really be made.
