Actually, since the last ep. started with 'finally on farscape', and ended with dialog probably selected to let you know exactly how it would be resolved (what the weapon was refered to as, etc.), they tried to make it a bit of a non-cliffhanger.
Then, over at farscapefantasy.com they did a breakdown on the original teaser trailer, including one particular shot indicating that they do resolve this 'realisticly' - no quickie repair, dream, etc.
