The point the above guy was making is that most novice computer users will not take the initiative to download a 5 meg file to get another player. They will just use what is already on their system, causing the other formats to slowly die out.

Code Red exploits an.idx vulnerability causing a buffer to overflow with a string of NNN's or XXX's. Code Red I searches for other machines to attack and basically eats up bandwidth. Code Red II searches for other machines to attack as well, but also installs a back door on the system that it infects, giving system access to anyone with a web browser.
The Simpsons equivalent of that movie with Mel Gibson is the best. A Senator gets impaled with a flag :).

The same instructions stay in the instruction register, only the data needs to be swapped.
I've never taken a COURSE in ethics, but I know what the right thing to do is. That's not always the fun thing though :).
