The difference is Microsoft has a bad reputation for lying and cheating about what its software does, how and why it does it-and the developers of Mozilla dont. Theres also the issue of the trial-as I remember Microsoft was found GUILTY.
Its a matter of trust. Microsoft lost mine and continues to erode my respect in its motives and products.
I will not be running xp.
