Admittedly theoretical: what if every email you sent out started having an advertisement for the latest Time-Life video attached to the bottom of it...
there would be either free internet access or a mass unsubscription move from aol's customer.

i see nothing scary, you don't like CNN,change channel, you have a TON'S more channel available in the US when compared to us (ok,bell's ExpressVu here do have 200 channel but it's odd that everyone will take them all).
you're also free to do your own TV channel (albeit lower quality unless you have load of cash) delivered on the internet too.
well, nice car but then,i think you miss out a few criteria, you see,a Camaro (or Firebird, they're the same car except the body) is a good car but then,if you bring your bird up in Decatur at Lingenfelter's shop, you're not buying just more horsepower, you're also buying a hand assembled engine, properly balanced and assembled with great care,it get blueprinted too (intensive job about checking tolerance and machining the various parts so they'll fit well together,it unlock a few horsepower as well as making the engine smoother),kind of like comparing the best Commercial Software and the best OpenSource software, they're both insanely good software but one may well be a bit better than the other.
umm..if he do that,i Seriously hope he'll also throw a course in high performance driving in that deal, puting a 1000hp car (1300hp at some part of developement,i try to get as much info as possible on the development status of the Testarossa since i intend to work in the high performance tuner car market in the futur) in the hands of someone who previously had car having 100hp to 200hp (no offense to those who have 300+) is asking for trouble, the top end on that thing is around 214mph (rpm limited, you run out of rpm long before you run out of power),well,if you're (anyone i mean) a gearhead and would like to talk about this further,i'll get a mailbox and post back soon.
ummm...those Ferrari are built, there's not just the engine who's upgraded, the car is,unfortunately,it's all a question of $$$$,best power to buck ratio presently is a Camaro with a Lingenfelter engine, should cost around 45 000$ (16k$ for engine and the remaining for the car),if you want a used car,get a 300ZX twin-turbo (any years) and send it to stillen, forgot the hp for both solution: Camaro 450hp stillen 300ZX around 500 to 550hp depend on the mod level you choose.
url for both these tuner: www.lingenfelter.com and www.stillen.com
look the review,a supercomputer allway cost a lot of dough, the only price i've seen in it is 19 000$ and the thing is supposed to have 1000 to 2000 computer production run per year, sony said they are not interrested in doing a profit on these box but still the low production run mean they won't have low price for a long while.
running Linux instead of other OS already cost me around 400$ in fee i could have avoided, and it grow up and up as the time go,but i NEVER did regret it since it help in 2 dept:
1-: i learned immensely and for me,learning is extremely important (esp in my favorite subject which linux fit in)
2-: it help my credit situation (very important as i have a lot of project i want to do)
so all in all,i spent over 4000$ in computing and about 1000$ on that is dedicaced to running Linux, keep in mind that your mileage may vary (and improve a lot when compared to me).
it's about to snow in Quebec too (ummm....doesn't remember if it's 4 degree C or -4 C i heard in the news, but ask my dog,the daily walk was VERY short !!)
wish it would be possible to bump M. Scott Draeker post up to 10 (i would surely have done it had i been assigned the job of moderator),IMNSHO this is a great contest, well,i admit my post is pretty much content free, normaly,i wouldn't have posted but my back would have been on fire if i hadn't posted.
www.microsoft.com is running Microsoft-IIS/4.0 on NT3 or Windows 95
but then, maybe they're doing load balancing on multiple machine.
disclaimer: i'm not paid by MSFT and never intend to be,in fact,i want to start my own business of crafting fast and more efficient car out of ordinary (relatively: BMW,MB and sport car with big engine) car.
well,i don't think all Canadian speak french, the majority of French Canadian speaker are in Quebec, there's some minority in other provinces but they're not numerous.
if you buy a car with the hood welded,it's going to cost you more when it's time to fix it because the mechanic will have to be mightily creative to fix thing underhood, this will take more time while if the hood can be open,it take less time thus less cash to fix it.
in the case of software if you need modification to a closed source software,it's going to cost you truckload of cash to get the company to do your custom software while going OpenSource will cost less 'cause you can take the sources and bring them to a freelance coder.

now every NT sysadmin will like that "feature",imagine not having to go reboot the NT machine at 3am !!
that's why a new berlin widget set had to be coded,i don't think there's a lot of widget set who are corba compliant.
