I started to use Linux with 2 floppy drives in 92? maybe it was a year or two later. But the first true Linux distro that I used was RedHat 4.0.
I used that RedHat until Fedora was spun off from it and have used Fedora as my primary distro since. Though I have dallied with Mint and other Debian OS's.
It looks like to me this is the Anthrax scare for Linux users.
I have no doubt that newgrp can be exploited, but I can't use newgrp unless I su running RH 7.1.
Am I missing something here?
I find this extremely disturbing..I am not willing to give up my rights as a US citizen. I have contacted my Senator and Congress Person on this particular question.. I don't want to live in an Orwellian state..This is what will happen if we do not express ourselves to our representative.
