Widescreen is becoming increasingly popular here in the UK. They are roughly 50% more expensive than a non-widescreen model which makes a typical 28" about 700 UKP and a 32" anywhere from 900 UKP upwards. With DVD taking off over here aswell I think that they will be better selling than 4:3 models _very_ soon (1-2 years). I must admit to being surprised that the US is lagging behind - at least we've beaten you guys to something!;)
