What ever happened to separation of church and state? What are they going to teach now? I can see them banning teaching we were put here as some sort of grand alien experiment, but banning evolution? Where have these people been for the past 200 years. I can see including creation as another theory, but not excluding one. Its like trying to explain how the dinosaurs dissapeared(although everyone knows that BIll Gates had them killed). There are many theories on the topic, but nobody knows for sure. So, they teach many different explanations. How hard is that? Its all a mild form of trying to control the minds of America's youth. What ever happened to forming your own opinion? Present the facts and let people decide for themselves what is true and what's not. Don't dictate what we are allowed to know. Jesus, these people need to open their eyes a little bit.
I went into this movie expecting to be scared silly. The mystery around this movie was great. I really wanted to see it. I get to the theatre, then proceed to sit through an hour of crap. The last 20 minutes was really good(esp. the ending), but I almost walked out after the first 45min. An hour of bouncing camera shots of the back of people's heads just isn't very entertaining, or scary for that matter. Overall, it was an OK movie. The ending really salvaged the whole thing. I will say this, I saw the 11:30pm show and drove my girlfriend, who lives in the middle of a heavily wooded area, home after the show. I'll admit I was pretty creeped out driving through the middle of the woods.
You'd think that people as righteous as those who did this 'so-called' review of South Park would open up their narrow litle minds a bit. I personally cried from laughing so hard at 4 separate occasions duing the film(Uncle Fucka!!!!).
There is something inheirently funny about hearing someone 'pass wind'. You remember sitting in class in elementary school, hearing the anonymous bomber let one go right when the teacher is in the middle of a lesson. EVERYONE in the room laughs(except for the teacher of course, unless they were cool). EVERYBODY. I still chuckle to this day when I hear an anonymous package being delivered.
These people have their noses stuck so far into that bible that they don't take a look around and see what's going on in the world. These folks need to loosen up(or get laid). I personally don't think the movie is appropriate for kids under 13, but I think the R rating serves it purpose. If a parent doesn't want their kid seeing it, they don't take them.

Pretty sweet, I'm graduating from purdue with a CS degree. Can't fault the Purdue CS crowd for not knowing what's going on in the world, now can you? /. kicks ass
