Within.Net there is a move away from ASP.Net towards new frameworks such as MVC.Net. You get a different picture with a slightly different link http://www.indeed.com/jobtrend...
In other new the BBC has announce it will start charging BT for the content that BT customers download.
OK I just made that up. But what the BBC is doing with the iPlayer is driving up demand for consumer broadband... this is good for ISPs not bad. Every time the bbc mentions now available on the iPlayer (lots) any punter with out broadband has another incentive to give ISPs more money.
BT is already getting paid to deliver zeros and ones to its customers by its customers, why should they get paid twice? BBC is already getting charged to push their zeros and ones to the internet, why should they pay twice.
If BT finds this situation unpleasant they could just block the iPlayer, I think this would be a very good way to see how many customers the BBC has given them, as BT watches them leave.
How is this for a solution. Fully encrypted hard drive which is divided into partitions on boot you get asked for a key which key you enter determines which partition is unlocked. You set up say 3 partitions [{a,Super Secret}, {b,sacrificial}, {c, unlockable}] you memorise the key/pass phrase for A and B and destroy the key for C so you can never unlock. You set up OS on both A and B and use regularly for stuff you don't mind being found out. You only use A for your really secret stuff.
When you are coerced into giving you key you give your key to B and claim you never had the key to A or C.
The setup program strongly advises let it choose a key for one of these partitions and destroys that key immediately so there is at lease one partition you can not access.
This is like burglar alarms that have multiple pins, one for disarm, one for disarm under duress.
Most simple (often usfull) place to start is using functions in Excel. Will give her the idea of variables and functions, Name some cells and you can show the use of meaningful variable names.
Once she gets the idea of that try some html with javascript set up a home page for her. ( good brag value "... when I was working on my home page I...." is great value at the local coffe group:).

I was in an office where we had a culture of approx 3 10 minute Quake games a day, multi-player all in.
With the occasional after work longer session. We found a quick 10 min game increased productivity reduced stress and was good for the team.
part of what worked was that we all played at the same time so we could yell and woop and curse.
