I for one think that any State or government (any country) should promote jobs within the state or govenment they are in. You should not send legetimate work off state/shore from government funds. it is one thing to see global companies doing this; they operate and are a part of the exconomy of those countries as well anyhow. Government however should promote within it's own and never send work away.
I find it a bit curious and well ludicrous that our overpaid legislators would be so concerned over incorrect or false information on whois records but allow for the falisification of caller ID on our telephones.
Hmm, maybe it's just me but I would think MORE people in America would benefit from non-fradulent CallerID (Darn them telemarketers) than from what the heck a whois record says. Most internet users (even if they own a domain) don't know what WHOIS records are anyhow.
So don't do anything illegal.
Be serious, look at any of the forums on http://www.broadbandreports.com/forum/voip regarding VOIP. Do you really think these companies have the time to keep up with monitoring your conversations and such when they barely stay afloat with user demand?
The ones that know are the ones replaced - a normal security threat. Also proves why management typically has no brain capacity themselves, otherwise they would be a threat.
Let's see - we reaplced the one man security risk (all security administrators are a risk) with an entire company! Wow! That's improving the odds! (D'uh!)

-- OK another bad plug to old stories.
