i read their writing, i talk with them, i knew some.
i take comfort only in the fact that by some crude and crumbling
joke that god has played on the earth, these people's products
actually manage to do useful work sometimes.
it gives me great hope,, great solace,,, to know that Eric and his

oh yeah, that and the PC market is a commodity industry based on
loosely met hardware and software standards, many of which are proprietary
and thus impossible for 'open source' people to get a hold of, even if they
did give a rats ass about their users. thats partly why theres no drivers, theres
no easy configuration, and shit doesnt work. the other part really is
that open soruce people in general do not give a shit about their users.
they do it because they are glad to be out of the pressure of actually
having to make a product with other people. communication is the highest for
of insult to them, as though it was worth their time to interact with you!
