You wrote the following comment:

Well guess how he got accused of cheating? Could it be that his code resembled another student's code? Bingo. You win a prize.
To top it all off, Georgia Tech announced publicly that they were going to use a new piece of software that would catch cheaters. The article mentioned that other students didn't bother to turn in the homework; they knew that they would have been busted. This guy probably thought the threat was not valid.
