I hate M$ as much as the next guy, but this is not about them - its about Java. Java is a failure, perhaps the biggest and loudest failure this industry has ever seen.
Java does not deliver. It sucks. And if I hear any more of that "platform independent" sheise, I'll remind everyone that VMs are platform dependent.
