I work for a large consulting firm, and I think the real paradigm shift will occur when large third-party consulting firms start considering Linux as a viable option.
Unfortunately, in the business world where the most "technical" users wouldn't know C from Perl and have never heard of "The Registry", changes like this are all but impossible. At this time, I still believe Linux is the realm of geeks and engineers....
but never give up the fight!!
