My family has played this forever -- we call it "crazy bingo" and play it with a few decks of cards (and usually smaller presents). It was always funny to see my sweet grandmother get mad when someone stole a $2 gift from her!
Wasn't there a recent story on SD about MS planning a new type of newsgroup idea? Something to the tune of they want to do to newsgroups what they did to e-mail (a la hotmail)?
I haven't had a good laugh like that in a long time.
Perhaps with all the calls for a grass-roots effort, more and more of us could do this as such an effort.
IANAL but I thought individuals commit extortion and corporations engage in anti-trust behavior.
With the SCO-Microsoft connection, I think anti-trust is more appropriate a term.
Though IANAL I believe they may actually have to earn some money and have a monopoly first, which is what they are aiming to do.
