    The way it previously worked was people lied about their income and classified part of it incorrectly. What is wrong with fixing that? If you are an independent contractor your skill and expertise should justify you a rate that allows you to make money and pay taxes. If you are skimping on the taxes you are in a race to the bottom with undocumented workers and you are driving down salaries for others who don't cheat, whether they are contractors or employees.

    Taxes should be a level playing field.

    Don't pretend this s-corp bullshit is being fairly followed by people paying themselves the absolute lowest possible salary when the sole value in the company is their skill, knowledge, and reputation.

    I saw some Fox News last weekend at my in-laws and listened to a little Right wing talk radio on an evening drive. I was really astounded by the low quality and heavy handed (obvious to me) dishonesty in the commercials. Aside from the idiocy that they host is spewing forth the commercials are almost harmful to the intelligence of anyone in hearing range without any critical thinking skills.
    This really made me realize the level of intelligence of the average viewer/listener for these programs. Every charlatan and huckster around is putting an advertisement on these stations for a reason.

    There is just as much niche product out there as there always was, Walking Dead, Big Bang Theory, Mad Men, Girls, Vikings, etc...
    Many networks seem to be realizing that if they can't get 10 million viewers for a show, a smaller dedicated group is the way to go.

    FYI, I use and HSA and if I process it through my insurance company I get way more then a 15% discount. Sometimes the discounts are 90%. If you are starting from the book rate, you are getting ripped off.

    I agree, more schooling is not the answer. Better, more targeted education should make it so that a high school diploma is worthwhile and truly provides the basic level of competency that employers and society expect of a person.

    Why treat ballclubs like ballclubs? It's human nature? What difference does it make if a school you haven't attended in a decade wins something? Better yet, who cares if a professional sporting team staffed entirely by out of towners and only temporarily located in your city (owners move at their discretion) wins a game? Why do we shovel money into their pockets for athletic fields and such?

    I'm seriously asking, because I can't figure it out...

    No seriously, they were reviewing apps for doing your taxes on the news this morning, take a picture of your w2 and it imports everything. Probably does the OCS on an unsecure channel back to turbotax.

    Something I can easily take out and destroy at virtually a moments notice is a security nightmare?
    My phone also supports SD card encryption but I haven't bothered. I bet that would have thrown a monkey wrench into his recovery process.

    I trust the big browser developers to handle SSL certificates and warn me if one is incorrect (mostly). How do apps handle DNS redirects or man-in-the-middle ssl interference? I don't trust them to do it right.

    So the Union members are the only ones voting in these elections? You are a moron (stooping to your level). If a system is screwed up it is our responsibility to fix it. Taking public unions out of a broken system still leaves a broken system in charge and it will wreak endless havoc.
    The election process is the problem. Money equated to speech is the problem. Corporations and Unions having the rights of people are the problems.
    Get your head out of Limbaugh's ass and think for yourself. Your life will improve, things will smell better.

    There are no problems with public unions if our system of checks and balances is working and citizens are asking questions. When you have problems it is because the area has been gerrymandered to allow one party decades of power and/or the people are asleep at the wheel.
