Don't get the fuss about hydrogen fuel cells. As one of the scientists on Ballard's steering committee said 'fuel cells are NOT pollution free, they're pollution elsewhere'. Best way to make hydrogen? Strip the H's off of mehtane. Still wind up with the same amount of CO2 as burning the equivalent amount but less total energy from the generator to run your blender. Next best way to make H? spit water using electricity. Oops! 80% of electricity in US & Canada comes from coal fired generators. Anyone bold enough to suggest using a fuel cell to crack water to get H to run the fuel cell?
