as a newbie to linux knowing where to put and how organize files would help alot!!!!! I haven't found any info on this yet and at this point I only know enough to be dangerous. A book I've purchased suggests that program files (software packages) go to/usr or/opt? which is it?
kinda sounds like a parent? and don't ask me what happened to the gigabytes on my home workstation, where the virus came from (dual boot) or if my workstation has visited any inapporpreate web site.
will it make a file server/home? for my home network
or a game server for my son's tfc server
a dvd player for the living room
how do you load linux onto it and whats taking the guru's so long and thankyou bill for selling it so cheap..........
