What I don't understand is why, when people buy these Linksys 'routers', they think they have an actual ROUTER. 99% of these linksys owners just use it as a gateway. Not a router.
How many home users need a router?? You only have one connection to your ISP. Once the packet reaches your ISP, you have no control over where it goes.
I guess just having control over that first hop is enought to warrant buying a true router?
