I for one like getting paid for writting code. How long do you think that will last if profits only come from support and consultancy?
I thought the communist threat was vanquished but now I see we have another battle to be fought, at home.
Remember 'free' is anti-american. If you think that our system of capitalism needs to be reworked just remember that although ignorant people complain, there's a mcdonalds and kfc in every country in the world (execpt afganistan) for a reason, captialism kicks social reform's ass.
