    Most of our users are sensible enough to realise that you can't expect to run a server that's going to work hard on an NT box :) The other problem with sdadmin is that you have to press tab at least 1000 times per screen, which is a total PITA :) We are telling people to hang fire on v5, as it seems a little flaky, but yes, I know what you mean. v5 in general was a bit of a letdown, the promised mesh architecture with multiple masters never appeared... Strangely enough, I have a feeling we support the UK arm of your employers ACE server, but I couldn't say for sure without checking... (I could be wrong though, but I know we do business with you for something or another)

    Linux port is in the offing, according to RSA..

    The NT version is as stable as the solaris one, for all of the installations I've seen (I work for the largest reseller of ACE in Europe). I'd still go with solaris though, but the text based admin tool is appalling (but does everything). Web based admin is now an option in v5, but it's still limited...
