I agree, there is a lot of crazy stuff on that page, I knew a lot of people would enjoy it.

When I am done, I will have almost 100k invested into my computer engineering degree. Yes, I am also female.
At school, the ratio of male to female is about 7 to 1. I'm sure it will be similar in the workforce.
However, to anyone who loves what they do, this shouldn't be an issue at all. I like to think we are far above this.
Intelligence, earning power, even laziness are universal. Men aren't any less lazy or MORE lazy than women are.
Short of wearing one of those cheezy "linuxchicks" t-shirts, I am a woman in this industry, and you know what?
Its not that difficult.
I don't feel oppressed.
And I DON'T think engineering is "faltering".
Engineering=designing, creating, researching...
all of which is still being done.
