The only caveat is that if someone wants it from you they can buy the whole damn thing from you for the price you claimed it was worth - UNLESS you immediately raise the value and pay a penalty for undervaluing it.
If IP is, in fact, property, then the property holder can choose not to sell their property.

It's not on Slashdot because of a desire to gloat. It's on Slashdot because it's a compelling, true story about not letting this sort of transgression go unrebuked.

I get sick of hearing the buzzing of the trunk of the car with the huge fucking subwoofers that toddles down my street at the most bizzare hours of the day and night. I'm SICK of listening to other people's music. I think I'm going to stick with my walkman.

I liked this idea better when it was being marketed by Poetic Tech. At least PT gives you the option to have counterspace to pile crap on.

It seems to me that over the past several years lots of research has been done on possible storage medium, yet the basic PC storage structure has yet to change. I remember reading on /. where someone figured out how to get 10 gig on a roll of scotch tape, but I still have magnetic drives. Do you have rolls of scotch tape in your machine?
