Hello,
I'm looking into buying a DVD player, and I'm wondering if it really makes sense to spend the extra money to buy a progressive scan player (I have a non-HD tv, so I won't see a difference) and be "ready" for when I can afford a HDTV, or if the "line doubler" or whatever the name is of the HDTV will give me the same results, with a conventional DVD player.
What do you think?
Thanks!
Money. If we can get rid of Solaris/Sybase and use Linux/Postgres, for some of our clients that would mean a $2 million drop in price. IT is not what it used to be, where money would flow freely and people wouldn't care where it went. Today, I have to justify spending $10 on a new mouse.
