If everyone in the US/World drive a diesel around we would have a huge problem!
Diesels have TONS of particulate, also diesel has MUCH higher emissions that any gas engine. Maybe Bio-Diesel or Fisher-Tropsezes could be a solution but in all we should look at other options then diesel. The only really good thing about diesel, it has low upstream emissions.
REALLY BAD down stream emissions!
