  1. hydrogen is the wrong solution on NASA Tests Hydrogen-Fueled BMW · · Score: 1

    There is no Hydrogen infrastructure!
How much energy does it cost to generate the hydrogen?
How much carbon will be dumped into the atmosphere to create that hydrogen.
Hydrogen is highly flammable and explosive - Hindenburg anyone!
The R&D being spent on hydrogen fueled cars is a complete waste of $$ and time.
I drive a BMW and like it very much. I am so disappointed in BMW. They really missed an opporunity to demonstrate some leadership and failed.
We need investment in solar energy conversion and storage.

  2. bloatware just go more bloated! on Word 2007 to Feature Built-in Blogging · · Score: 1

When forced to use MS Word, I still only use a small fraction of the "features". I much prefer tools that don't try to be everything to everyone. Why not build PPT and XLS into word, and a web browser and an email client, ...., that way I never have to leave Word! Ugh!

  3. Stop whinning and speak with out valets! on EU's Mind 'made up' on Microsoft · · Score: 1

Don't waste time with all the law suits, etc. Just buy a Mac or put Linux/*BSD on your x86 PC! None of my computers run WinXX - either Linux (Debian) or Mac OS X!

  4. Re:2.4 GHz IS NOT the resonant frequency of water. on Parents Sue School Over Use of Wi-Fi Network · · Score: 1

True. The lowest frequency of the water MOLECULE (in a gaseous phase) is at about 22 GHz. What happens is that in a liquid phase these resonances broaden out considerablly into a continuum like absorption. The water in food does absorb some of the energy, but not as efficiently as it would if it were a gas and you used 22 GHz. That said, ...., read the back issues of Physics Today they had a very good article on debunking all the EM field dangers and fallicies. Remember this is not the same thing as standing next to a radar transmitter! Also, these parent don't realize that their childern are far more likely to die in an automobile accident than anything else! Why not sue the car manufacturers and every driver! ;-)
