Wait..i think i know what text-based game that was. when i was 10 i used to play a game called McMurphy's mansion. which if not the game yr talking about, still a very similar one...though there was money involved too..
the solution to McMurphy's mansion can be found here, along with others...

I've always hated the Windows UI as well. When you start thinking hard about functional design, the windows UI is terribly evil (i can't stand the lack of window shades, and i HATE internal windows which take up so much space and clutter yr screen to the point you cant see other programs or can't tell which is which..ugh).
But the startup UI is a good step, as are gnome and KDE, but when is the 4-year effect going to start for UI? I'd think linux would be an awesome foundation to teach a user interface design class, since the window managers provide so much to work with (imagine a UI class based on windows' Themes)...then maybe we'd get a fully refined interface to match the refined OS...

since the article said "they" are focusing on economic intelligence, we could always start a fake company, whose only function is an eMail server sending out emails which contain information about how in a couple days this is going to be a hot stock...hell maybe that's the secret of clinton's new budget plan??
Actually, they're prolly only looking for more 'georgebushsux'-like domains...

p.s. what if we all used the slashdot effect to send emails claiming microsoft was going defunct?
