I'm saying that linux is loosing it's originality. Back then only people who knew computers use it. Now every little kid wants to learn linux. And what do you think they learn? the command like? hahaha nooo they earn the pretty graphics.
I also like to add that *BSD should not be introduced to newbies. Are we that desprate. So what if all teh developers are fleeing? At least all the dedicated and honest programmers are still staying. Linux is already a joke. Look at linux now. They making games, videos for them? Does this remind you of another OS? YES that's right windows. I can complain that windows is so easy to hack. Windows has sh*t load of features then linux, and all of this is compile in windows's kernel. Linux is also beginning to do that. Did you notice how hacks and exploits started appearing for linux? think abou that. Windows is popular right now, so why wouldn't a hacker crack it? when linux will get popular it will get it's share. My final though is, lets make *BSD professional in a way where we can run server with out worring that some kid got some GNOME exploit.:)

Anyway, i want to say that BSD will win the server martket in couple of years, maybe 7 or 10. Right now Windows is getting pounded by hackers and most likely windows will go down. Second runner up will be Linux which will be the leading market in server OS and desktop OS. You know what happens when you give people to much power and money? They get corrupted. What will most likely happen is all the linux distros like Suse and Redhat will start charging. And who knows maybe they won't linux no more, but something else. Third runner up will be *BSD. Don't you see people that this is a cycle? For now windows is winning, then linux, then bsd, then something else will come out. Who knows maybe solaris or something else.
