I am not arguing with you. But the "high end processing environment" that I know Sun practically owns, is the financial sector. Stock Broking and Banking. Linux is coming up really fast on the desktop in the Stock Broking area though.
Actually HP-UX and Tru 64 are in that financial niche as well.
Solaris has a place there but not nearly as significant as the other aforementioned products.
Solaris does have a huge niche in the genetics field with genome alignment packages like GCG. There are several Genetic Packages that are written specifically to take advantage of the sparc arch. Linux though is making real headway in that arena as well, since postdocs have an easy time getting access to it to write their alignment utils.
This seems like a worthwhile effort to me. Searches return valid results, allbeit I haven't tested it that extensively yet. Seems like this has some real potential...
I do agree with some of the other comments about the color scheme. I myself do like darker color scheme's but... They don't seem to do that well in general.
I hope this works out for you, keep at it and good things will come.
Good Luck!

Any OS can be secure, just unplug it from any external connection. Problem solved...
It was down when I tried to visit it.... Plus, that was a funny comment. If you knew anything about NetBSD you'd of modded me up
Appears to be /.'ed in under an hour. Wow! I thought they ran NetBSD over there.
