I would hate to see a new batch of B.Sc's comming out who graduated from copying off one another (cure for cancer would take another 100 years). I guess in computer science individual creativity isn't too important...
By the way the only people I hear making the argument that a university education is analogous to the open source movement are hacks that can't code anything for themselves.
