Dang!! I live about 10 miles south of downtown Atlanta. I currently have a dedicated 2B ISDN connection (appx $300/month).
I can't get SDSL because I'm behind a DLC and BellSouth has informed me they have no plans of upgrading the DLC in 2002.
I can't get cable internet because my cable company (AT&T) doesn't provide it in my area (and I need a "business grade"/static IP service).
I saw this WDSL and said "finally, something with good upload speeds and it's available in Atlanta!!
But wait -- Earthlink says it's not available to me. According to their service area map, it's only available to downtown Atlanta and north. No coverage at all for the southside (below I-20). They have no idea if coverage will go to the southside, and they have no idea if they'll stay with the provider (broadlink).
Tried calling broadlink but only get a "leave a message" answer. Left one but haven't heard back. Tried emailing but haven't heard anything back (maybe they're on Christmas break).
