Apple or some enterprising group comes up with a great idea or the guts to produce and promote it, like bluetooth, or GUI, or wireless networking, or quicktime, and then some bigger, richer company comes out with their own usually weaker version.
Happens over and over. If only ppl. supported the originator (with their pockets) rather than the copycats--no thats too good a word--plagerizers, we would have more grand souflees rather then milktoast.
