I kind of agree with most people, that this article is pretty shallow and pointless. It's fairly typical, in fact, of cnn.com and that's why I much prefer bbc.co.uk.
It's logical to expect those gadgets that we have today, to decrease significantly in size; whilst at the same time developing more and more features. Look at cellular phones for example. I had my first cell phone about five years ago - looking at it now, it's a BRICK compared to the small nokia 8210 that I now own.
