What are the northern alliance if they aren't ground troops?
Just because they are not the US of A does not make them ground troops.
It's a tad bit flawed post since there are plenty of ground troops, just most of them are not American.
And anyway, the USA, Britain, Australia etc have sent in the majority of their special forces, which I wouldn't be surprised if they number cumulatively in the thousands.
Ground troops will always be required as will the human decision in the battlefield loop.
