inflation? What about the fact that satalites cant stay up in space for more than about 15 years at the moment? The cost of launching satalites is too great to make it worthwhine atm. And when satalites are able to launch into space cheeply, fusion power could well be more promanant...
Hydrogen might become more important in batterys (the only waste product being water).
I Don't think it will ever be used in power plants as a source, the sun is renewable but other power sorces are still cheeper. The efficancy of good solar cells rarely get above 13%.
