    It's just not supplyed by many web hosting companies... But MySQL usually is.

    Yeah,

    but all those web-hotell providers usually give you MySQL for "free". So we have it and we use it :) If more web-hosting companies would supply PostgreSQL, Firebird or SAP DB maby you'll se the switch...
