I think it's pretty cool and way overdue for the satellite tracking to finally happen. I have my own ADS-B ground station running PiAware. I'd be interested to see what planes are tracked only via satellite when out of ground station range. http://flightaware.com/adsb/pi...
I think all IT professionals should attend some sort of security conference on a semi regular basis. DEFcon has it's pluses and minuses. It seems to big and unwieldy to me but there are some very good talks. My favorite hacker con is SummerCon http://summercon.org/
The Openwave (www.openwave.com) browser is already leading. It targets the small screen and limited input you will always have on a phone. Even if phone displays get better, phones will always have constraints that desktop browsers will never have. Openwave recognizes this.
Will the receptionist who plays Solitaire all day need a new machine.... consider that there are probably only a few folks that would need the upgrade.
I use the developer.phone.com simulator to
develope WML on WINblows. Does anyone out there have a good WAP simulator for developing WAP games with Linux?

Charlie Miller and Jon Oberheide will be speaking at http://summercon.org/ in NY June 8 on Android. I hope to hear some good comparisons.
OSSIM fits in, and works for me!
Are they going to develop Google Talk for linux?
