Well I don't turn on the tv. Listening to them will just confuse you. I only look at the computer
models. The NOAA projections always seemed to be extremely reliable.

https://www.wunderground.com/h... - Shows five of the most reliable computer models. Does not show ECMWF
https://www.star.nesdis.noaa.g... - live satellite view of movement.
http://www.intellicast.com/Loc... - for local radar
Of course you got to know your area. Flood areas is extremely important to know. Know how much wind the structure you are staying in can handle, the side of the storm you are on is very important.
South side is lot weaker. North side very powerful. Basically just use common sense.
