    But otherwise, I agree. Even a non boat tailed 5.56 -- even the XM193 -- is accurate at 250 yards, and will drop a deer.

    I'm saying your concern about collateral damage is honorable, but your blame for it is entirely misplaced.

    Hamas fired the first shot, does not respect cease fire agreements, does not control it's people...

    So... fuck them. I hope Israel rounds up every terrorist over there and executes them.

    Peace will only come when one side is victorious. I pray that the victor is Israel.

    LOL... you know the thing that bothers me about that toilet thing -- the people who "don't have access" to clean toilets only need access to them once a week or so because they're starving.

    Instead of advocating free toilets maybe they should advocated feeding these people so that they need a toilet.

    All you need is a hole in the ground. Besides -- think of all the water those toilets would waste. Holes in the ground are totally sustainable, and far more environmentally friendly. Won't you think of the children? Maybe we should have shovels for all... after all, can't have people killing and eating animals and using their skins for leather and bones for tools, can we?

    They don't meet MILITARY standards

    Wow. It rare to see someone so completely wrong here.

    A Colt 1911 that anyone can go purchase at a gun store is IDENTICAL to the Colt 1911 that many people in the Military carry as a sidearm.

    Furthermore, aside from the fact that it's not an automatic weapon, my AR-15 is MilSpec, and fires the same 5.56x45mm NATO rounds that they use in Afghanistan today.

    This is very, very important: It should not be relied upon for purposes of self-defense.

    My Springfield XD-S in .45 ACP, on the other hand, CAN be relied upon for purposed of self defense.

    A simple .22lr to the head would do the job quicker.

    And before someone tells me how much better a .45 ACP would be -- I carry a .45 every day. Love the round. But a .22 is a cheaper round, and typically doesn't exit the skull, instead, it bounces around the inside of a skull scrambling the brain.
