One fun device that we have been playing with at work is a wireless doorbell. You place the speaker near someone's computer (under desk or behind monitor.) You trigger the beep remotely with your wireless button and watch as the person goes insane trying to stop their computer from beeping.

turn down volume... unplug speakers... shutdown computer... beat on computer with hammer...

While it is not voter suppression, the violent attacks on Republican campaign offices across the country is very disturbing.

How sad is it that the Dems and the AFL-CIO have resorted to violence?

It is also interesting how little news coverage there has been of this issue. If these were Democrat offices, the airwaves would have been full of protests and accusations of civil rights violations. I mean, Jesse is already holding press conferences and we haven't even started the election!

$20MM sounds very high. The Sun StorEdge 9980 System costs $2.3MM for 20T, upgradeable to 70T. So say between $5MM and $6MM for 50T. The system is a fully racked SAN - just plug it in and go. http://store.sun.com/catalog/doc/BrowsePage.jhtml? cid=82215&parentId=75082

  4. Re:Not the only one on Fuel Cell Car Goes Cross-Country · · Score: 1

Quote from GM's site: " All of AUTOnomy's essential systems, including the fuel cell stack and on-board hydrogen storage system, are neatly packaged in the skateboard-like chassis. The unit is intended to last for years, much longer than a conventional vehicle." That last phrase is so revealing about our "throw-away" culture. We could make cars that last for 20+ years, but that wouldn't be profitable for GM. Instead GM brags about making a car that last for "years".
