Sorry folks, but Sony is and has for a long time been selling consumer products. Sony offers 90days limited warranty (aka if anything goes bad even if its thier fault they'll have to torture you into not wanting to get it fixed)
Now, You can buy a Dell 3 year Next day onsite warranty that will pretty much pay for itself.
Plus Dells just run Great!
