I guess if I didn't know what XP was in this context then a lot of the stupid replies would make a lot more sense.
XP = eXtreme Programming - a method for developing software (any software, any language, any platform).
It's actually no big deal that you can use the XP method with Java development. You can use XP with any development application because XP is a methodoligy and not a product.
